Weather: Cloudy, chilly, and rainy
The dogwood leaves are tinged red. Turned on the heat briefly this morning. The twisted ankle is still testy.
Gibbs continues to be suspicious of the neighborhood. He barked at arguing robins and a drainage pipe. He didn't want to go around the park, but did his stuff and turned to come right back to the house.
The sycamores are turning yellow. One maple had red-orange tinged leaves at the edges. The joe pie weed has gorgeous purple berries and fuchsia stems. The air has the barest hint of wood smoke and decaying leaves.
